Lorena Novoa is an Australian singer, performer and television personality best known for her time as a member of the iconic Young Talent Time team during the 1980s.

Joining Young Talent Time in 1984 at just 12 years old, Lorena quickly became a fan favourite thanks to her powerful vocals, vibrant personality and stage presence. She remained with the show until 1987 and later returned in 1988 as part of The New Generation, the international version of the series created by Johnny Young. Her time on the program saw her perform to audiences across Australia and become part of one of the most beloved eras in Australian television history.

Following her success on Young Talent Time, Lorena continued her music career as a member of the band Culture Shock, signing a recording contract with Sony Music. The group toured nationally, released three singles and an album, and built a strong following throughout Australia.

Over the years, Lorena has remained active in the entertainment industry as a performer, recording artist and television personality, continuing to share her passion for music and the arts with audiences around the country.

More recently, Lorena has reconnected with fans through her popular YTT Forever Fans content and podcast, celebrating the legacy of Young Talent Time and preserving the memories of one of Australia’s most iconic television programs.

Today, Lorena remains a much-loved figure in Australian entertainment and nostalgia television circles, continuing to inspire audiences through her music, storytelling and ongoing connection to the golden era of Australian television.
